PCM was created in 1969 by Richard C. Marx to provide an alternative domestic market for Architects' and Engineers' Professional Liability.

Since that time, we have broadened the scope of our operations and now provide coverage for not only Architects & Engineers but also Lawyers, Insurance Agents and a multitude to Miscellaneous Professionals. Accepting business exclusively from licensed agencies and brokers, we provide one of the largest national markets for these specialty coverages.

To complement the foregoing, we also serve our producers in the capacity of wholesale brokers by placing excess liability above our underwriting facilities, other classes of professional (non-medical) liability, and a full line of casualty and excess casualty coverages.

As an organization that has been in business for almost forty years, we understand how to maximize our producers' efforts with superior facilities and service through a select group of quality domestic carriers. We accept business exclusively from licensed agents and brokers throughout the United States.

We are licensed as resident agents, brokers and surplus lines brokers in New York, and as non-resident brokers or agents in most other jurisdictions.

We only accept business from licensed agents and brokers. These products are not available in all states.
