Mr. Glissen,

The Rock L. Butler Middle School in Wellsboro Pa. would like to thank Mr. Glissen for his dedication and commitment to our youth. We were blessed with the opportunity to meet
Mr. Glissen at an assembly here in Wellsboro Pennsylvania for our 5th through 8th grade students. His message was powerful and timely as we are all faced with issues in our school regarding bullying and peer relations.  Mr. Glissen’s ability to connect with the students and gain their attention for the entire 45 minutes was amazing.

The Rock L. Butler Middle School will definitely plan on having Mr. Glissen back to our school and having him present to the entire district.

Thank you and keep up the good fight!

A letter of appreciation.
My son Dylan Kucowski recently won Bel Ray products in a charity raffle at the Raceway Park Motocross awards banquet. I have used Bel Ray products on his motorcycles some of time. After meeting your representative Harold Glissen and being a beneficiary of Bel Ray's generosity, I will purchase Bel Ray products exclusively. It is companies like Bel Ray and representatives like Harold Glissen that make customers happy and promote sales. I have always purchased products where customer service was above and beyond. Bel Ray has set the bar high.

I can tell you first hand from the user end in the motocross scene that the combination of the quality of Bel Ray products, support of the motocross industry from Bel Ray, and having a role model like Harold Glissen as a representative drives the sale of Bel Ray in this area more than any other chemical product.

You have earned a lifelong customer. Please keep up the great work.

I hope you can pass this letter to the president of Bel Ray.

Thank you.
Ted Kucowski

"Over a period of many years I have participated and observed numerous assembly programs none of which have had an impact as did Mr. Glissen’s presentation. His program is inspirational as well as educational. He is able to relate to any age group and is passionate about reaching out to children. His message is heart felt and addresses social issues prevalent in schools across America such as bullying and teasing. His message “You can overcome any obstacle and do all things if you believe in your self “. Mr. Glissen is an outstanding role model and inspiration to everyone."

Dear Harold Glissen,

We are glad that you agreed to visit the Dr. Herbert N. Richardson 21st Century School to speak to the students about your career. The staff, as well as the students, found your presentation very interesting. Your enthusiasm for your work was evident as you spoke. We sincerely appreciate the time you devoted to the students.

Judging by the reaction of the students after you left, you definitely gave them something to think about. It is important that students at this impressionable age make the connection between a career and the value of a good education. You were very effective in driving that home.

Again, thank you very much for visiting and sharing information about your interesting career with our students. Should you wish to visit the school at your leisure, you are more than welcome at any time.

Sincerely,
Career Day Committee
